Hi, my name is Michael Agrell. I live in Canada, just outside Toronto. This blog describes some of the hikes I have done since 2016. In 2016, the first was the Kungsleden in Sweden which was completed on September 13th. and the second, parts of the Carian Trail in Turkey (September 28th to October). In July 2017 I went to Montana for a week, the first 4 days I did day hikes to acclimatize. This was followed by a 4 day (3 night) backcountry hike organized by BackPackingLight.Com.
Next in spring 2018 I went back to Mexico after a ten year hiatus with my friends Geraldine and David for 10 days of rock climbing.
2019 saw me walking across Scotland, participating in The Great Outdoor Challenge.
In 2020 I went to Patagonia and in 2021 returned to California to try and complete the John Muir trail . Sorry, my experiences on the first part of that trail are not reported on this site.
